I know it has been a couple of weeks since I last posted. You will be all caught up if you read through the camping pictures. Hope you enjoy my posts! We have been really busy lately!
MPTS Spring Carnival

Today was a busy day around here! Will's school had their end of the year Kindergarten Program at 2pm. They were also celebrating 80 years with the big Spring Carnival late this afternoon. Will's program was just great! The children say TONS of songs- many of which were barely understandable!! What fun to watch them! Kate and Ben had a great time, as well. Kate clapped after each song and danced in her stroller! After, we all (Ron included, he was playing hookey from work this afternoon!) headed over to the Nature Museum and Freedom park. That was so much fun, as well! While we were looking for ducks in the park, we came across a black water snake in the lake that was easily 4 feet long! The boys just LOVED watching it swim across the lake and then climb up on land near us. Around 4:30, we headed back to MPTS for the big spring carnival. The kids had a great time sliding on the bouncy jumpers and eating popcorn and cotton candy! Kate, however, did not have as much fun as it was not geared towards toddlers! When we had had all the fun we could handle, we headed to McAllisters for dinner then home for ice cream! What a fun start to the summer!!

Two More Bite the Dust
Will has lost two more teeth- that makes a total of 4 now! The 3rd tooth had been bothering him for several days- he couldn't wait for it to fall out. I really think he just pulled and twisted until it finally came out. He was so excited!! So that was Tuesday night. The tooth fairy came and left $1 and 2 trading cards. Unfortunately for him, Will lost his 4th tooth on Thursday night and the tooth fairy was not quite prepared! He 'only got $1!!' I am quite certain that is more than the TF ever brought me! We wanted to share som picturess of our little snaggletooth!

LAST GAMES!!
As much as we have enjoyed watching the boys play soccer and baseball, we are so very excited that the season is OVER!! Ben had a great last game and has really improved over the last 10 weeks! He had a great season and really enjoyed most of the practice and games!

Will had a GREAT last game! I was finally able to make it to one- many had been during Kate's nap time. So, I took Will to this one by myself. We had such a great time. They played coach pitch this game and he hit every time he was up to bat!! He was so proud! Will also fielded a couple of good plays and played the best he had yet!! It sure was fun to see him play so well! Can't wait for the next season (well, I can wait- but I know it will be fun!!)

Kate's New Wheels
So, now that Ben can ride his bike, we decided that it was time to pull out the old Radio Flyer Trike! Kate was so excited! She calls it her 'bite'. Just wanted to share a picture!

Boy's Night Out

And by out, I mean in the woods! The boys took their first overnight camping trip 2 weeks ago (this is so late because I have been waiting for Ron to write about it...). So, I am just going to give an overview of what they did. Ron got the boys new sleeping bags around Will's birthday so they had been begging to go try them out. Actually, they both slept in them in their rooms for a couple of nights!!So, Ron planned to take them the weekend of May 16th so he reserved the spot a week ahead (there were only a couple of spots left) and got to planning. Of course, it rained and rained the week of the trip and it was forecasted to rain the whole weekend. On Saturday, the rain was on and off so they decided to take the trip and hope for the best. They headed out for Chester State Park mid day and set up camp. The rain subsided and they ended up having a great time! Fishing, boating, and LOTS of gooey snacks! They made noodles and broccoli for dinner and smores for dessert! YUMMY!! The next morning, Ron made pancakes the size of the boys heads! After some time out on the boat, fishing, they headed home- Tired and full of fun stories!! They can't wait to go again!! Enjoy the pictures!Posted by Megan at 9:06 PM 0 comments
